Price depends on a number of factors. The type of hair extension, length, and the amount of hair. It also depends in what area/country you are in. Urban cities will be more expensive than the country side.



For length, usually in the NYC, eastern US, you need on average $1200-$2000 for the length that you asked for, for a quality product, such as Great Lengths, Hair Dreams, SoCap, Remylinks, Hairlocs, etc. These tend to last 4-6 months.



You can get something more temporary, like a seemless for $500 that last 2 months or so, and that are reusable, but the pre-bonded, keratin based or micro-ring based systems, costs more money.



Make sure the person is licensed with the system, a real hair dresser with a license, and that they have experience in doing them. Make sure you see lots of Real Salon before and after pictures, not other company website pics.
