My fiance decided on pin strip suits for the wedding. So I decided that all the girls and me will do our hair styles 40's 50's styles. But I am having a hard time finding one for my self. 2. Put your hair behind your ears.
3. Grasp it with your hand, and gently bring up to the middle of your head.
4. Secure with elastic.
5. Fasten big bumps with bobby pins (preferably bobby pins the same color of your hair)
Messy Bun
1. Start by brushing your hair back, leaving you without a part.
2. Take small sections of hair and ';scrunch'; sections up to desired height of bun.
3. Secure with an elastic.
4. Tousle with fingers to make more of a messy look.
Side ponytail
1. Make a low ponytail and move it over to the side of your head, just under your right or left ear.
2. Secure with elastic.
3. Add a clip just above your ponytail to add an elegant touch.
4. Sideswept bangs are also a cute way to add a little style to your ponytail.
High and low ponytails

I've had long hair for years. Here are some things that have worked for me:
1. The high pony tail. This is always cute, and takes very little time. Add a satin bow for a sweet/classy effect.
2. Roll it up and put it in a big clip in back. Some of it will spill out, giving you that great tousled look without a lot of hassle.
3. Put it in a low ponytail and braid it when it's wet. Then, let the braid hang or clip it to the back of your head for a more sophisticated look.
4. Put mousse in it while it's wet and scrunch-dry it with your fingers. It results in a wavy look without having to blow-dry or curl it.
5. Put it in a medium-high pony tail and wrap it into a bun. Clip the bun with a large clip instead of playing with bobby pins.
6. Wash it, let it dry and comb it straight. The straight look is sophisticated and takes almost no effort.
7. Pull it up on both sides and barrette the hair about three inches from the forehead hairline, then poof a little bit of it out of the barrette for more texture.
8. Put in it a pony tail and pull down pieces from the front and curl the pieces into tendrils.

Straighten it, curl it, create beachy waves, put it in a ponytail, a braid or two braids, a messy bun, a half pulled through ponytail with a headband, scrunch it, a headband with your hair down, a half-do, pigtails, and last but not least, have your hair down (either curly or straight) and pull your bangs up on top of your head, push them forward a little bit so it creates a poof on top of your head, and then pin it with a bobby pin. This is a look i just tried and it looked awesome. Get your hair all wet, or do this after a shower. Comb your hair get all the tangles out so its dead straight. Then if you have a kind of product that's like serum or sculpting stuff, spray that on. Just don't run your fingers through your hair. Comb it again straight. Then, sit still leave the hair to air dry a bit. Don't put it behind your ear or anything. Then, Mess it up and put it scrunched up in a hair clip. Then after a while, let it out. Your hair should be dry, and you should have full beachy waves. :]

I was going to say that putting your hair up on a simple ponytail will do but when I read that your hair's up to your waist, I had to rethink.Ü A bun will probably be better since you have REALLY long hair. What I usually do (when tying my hair up in a bun) is:
1. Tie it up in a ponytail
2. Twist the (loose) hair and at the same time twist it like a circle around the base of the ponytail you just made
3. Secure with bobby pins, the ones with a small gap between the two prongs (i'm not sure if that's the correct word/term). This works better than those bobby pins that have prongs that are close to each other.
4. Make sure there are no loose hair hanging around or near your face coz you must look neat seeing as this is an interview. There are a lot of hair products out there that you can use to secure all loose strands that just wouldn't get secured by the ponytail. Then you're all set!Ü

how about getting it permed into wavy hair and getting some bangs? When you let your hair down it'll look very *cute* and when you put it up you'll still have the bangs to make your hair style look different to its norm.

When you blow dry your hair use a round brush %26amp; give yourself some flips, but once you get to the very top layer of hair curl it under. I have very thick, very long hair, and a limited amount of time in the morning to do anything with my hair (I have a toddler). I'm really sick of just putting my hair in a bun, a ponytail, half up half down or a messy twist with a claw. I have the same problem with my hair. I look better with my hair down because my face is round, but I hate how my head gets really hot, and my hair gets messy and all over the place. If I tie it up, I get a crease in my hair from the band and it ends up looking weird if I put it back down.
The only thing I can suggest is to get a better cut and style for your hair so you can leave it down. Maybe get it layered for more texture, get bangs if you don't have them (I went for a side part for sideswept bangs). Ask your stylist for more advice on how to get a look that doesn't take a lot of upkeep. Good luck! :)

my hair is almost to my waist , i put my hair up exclusively with chopsticks (hair sticks) they are cheap some are REALLy lovely, and you can use one or a dozen , not to mention twisting the hair in various shapes and or braids.. it's really comfy..the scrunchies are bad for long hair, they break the hair follicle, if you have to use scunchies , use satin ones. man made material less porous means less damage to the hair. satin pillowcases are good to. better than cotton. my daughters hair is to her butt, she sits on it. i use hair sticks in her hair as well. we want to be whats called ';Rapunzels'; for obvious connotations. :D G'luck!Does anyone know some cool hairstyles for long hair?

Invest on different sizes of butterfly clips. Add hairsticks made of wood. Add butterfly clip to support the hairstick, and try to hide it, in order for hairsticks to hold w/out headaches.

if you can french braid, that always looks nice... you can even pin the braid up into a bun so it's all up
also, you can put your hair in a ponytail while wet and then take small (1/2 inch to 1 inch) sections and twist them up really tightly... they will start to twist up into a really cool look, then you bobby pin them in place.
a half pony (aka just the top section) with a nice clip in it looks nice and is super simple
also since your hair is slightly curly, you can just do a loose braid that is on one side and will go over your shoulder... you can leave out a few wisps is you have any shorter pieces toward the front... i think this one looks beachy

Don't brush your hair, just comb out the tangles with your hands. Lmao, it works... (You can brush the top part) Anyways then put in cream or mouse in your hair and let it dry. You will have NO frizz and this does not require heat from a hair straightner or curling iron. Its the simplist way :) Then style it how you want, half down, all down, all up...

I have long, dark blond, thick hair that comes to the middle of my back. It's all one length except I have the front layered to frame my face. I usually have my hair all down, half of it pulled up, or in a ponytail. What are some other easy to do hairstyles? i love this one. its simple and looks really cute.
Put your hair into a ponytail.
Grab a peice of your hair, about 1-2cm thick.
Now keep Turning/Swirling it untill it curls into itself to create a ball sort of thing.
Bobby pin it back.
Keep doing untill your whole ponytail is into a bun sort of thing.
You may need quite a few bobby pins!!
end result looks really nice.

It gives great pictures %26amp; how to's.
1.) Scrunch it- Its extremely easy and only takes 30 minutes. First, take a shower. I use Garnier Fructis Moisture Works Shampoo and Conditioner, but you can use whatever you want. Let your hair air-dry for two minutes after getting out of the shower. Then apply a good curling mousse, cream-gel (or shaping milk), and scrunching gel. I suggest Garnier Fructis, TRESemme, or Herbal Essences. Comb all the products through your hair with your fingers. Then, grab a handful of hair and scrunch. Do this all over your head until all the product is dissolved. Then, spritz a glossing spray, such as Garnier Fructis Brilliantine Shine Glossing Spray, all over your hair to reduce frizz and add shine. Let your hair air-dry for about 20 minutes, and you should come out with beautiful frizz-free curls that last all day. The products I use are Garnier Fructis Curl Scrunch Gel, Garnier Fructis Curl Construct Mousse, and TRESemme Touchable Curls Shaping Milk.
Curl it- Take a shower at night. Afterwards, apply a curling mousse, leave-in conditioner, and a shaping milk. Rub the products through your hair, then put it up in a bun and go to sleep. In the morning, take out your hair, and spray a heat protectant all over. You can either use a curling iron, or hot rollers. I prefer hot rollers. Place them in your hair, and let them sit for 30-40 minutes. Spray with hairspray. Take them out carefully, and mess with it a bit. You should come out with gorgeous wavy curls.
Messy bun
Side ponytail- Part hair to the side, and gather hair all to one side. Secure with a hair tie.
