Hair extension question?

I want to get hair extensions, but the clip in kind.

I already found some really nice and affordable HUMAN hair extensions at Sally's. My only question is that it just comes with the hair, and nothing to attach it to. At this point, it says ';Can be bonded or weaved in';. Does this mean I can buy hair extension clips, and just clip them on and use them?Hair extension question?
iam not sure Ive only heard about, bonded, and weaved. the best thing to do is go to a hairdresser and ask them the question. they would give you the best answerHair extension question?
bonded means that it can be glued in, and weaved means sewn to your head.

but you can just sew clips onto the hair weave

thats what i do

we dont have a sallys over here (australia)

so i have to buy all my stuff from the internet

but i heard that they sell the clips at sallys

they are really easy to sew on to the clips

and then you just clip them in

i hope that helped
no bonded means glued in and weaved in means sewn in you would be better off getting them sewn in because the glue stinks real bad and it hurts when you take them outalso if you want the clip in kind i suggest looking for them on the internet
Yes u can!!! You can buy them at sallys and sew them in. Only put 3 per track on the short ones, and 4 on the long ones. You can also buy them with the clips on them at sallys..Its about $80 depending on where you is located.

Can I condition my synthetic hair extensions without wrecking them?

They're clip ins, so they're pretty cheap in any case (just ones that go around my head rather than individual bits to put in different places). They look realistic enough, but they also look dry at the ends. I've tried brushing them out but they tangle. If I were to use some conditioner on them, would it ruin them? Can I condition my synthetic hair extensions without wrecking them?
no it wouldnt.

most people put the conditioner in the hair extensions and leave it in and put little plastic bags on them and leave it there for 3 days and they are all nice shiny and smooth :]Can I condition my synthetic hair extensions without wrecking them?
No I used conditioner on mines and it was brill but if you use hair serum before you straighten them its stops them from getting as dry:)

  • How do you remove glue from hair extensions?

I bought some extensions for 60 dollras a pack and i want to keep my hair!Yet they have glue on them...I want to reuse them so how do i remove the glue off the tracksHow do you remove glue from hair extensions?
They do sell a glue remover at most stores. Some say use baby oil but I don't think it actually dissolves the glue. Either way you've got some work in front of you. Good luckHow do you remove glue from hair extensions?
Shampoo should do the trick...you can buy a shampoo brush for about $1 at the beauty supply and brush through the track while you shampoo it, so it doesn't get tangled.....for $60 a pack, I don't blame you for wanting to reuse them. Yikes! You can also use glue remover, but a lot of people are allergic. Only use the remover if you are certain that you are not allergic to it.

    Hope this helps.
if you've had the hair in a lot then i would toss them and get new hair... its hard to remove the glue off the tracks... and unless you've kept the hair in top condition, chances are its gonna start to look dry and damaged. I would just invest and get new ones and re-glue them in.

How much do hair extensions cost?

I want to make my hair longer. Its Right at my chest right now and i want to get my hair below my chest. So how much are hair extensions? And will they affect your hair in a bad way?How much do hair extensions cost?
    Heeey there ,

alright well i've had hair extensions before.

%26amp; im letting you know right now, no matter what get the REAL HAIR extensions.. fake hair extensions if you put heat to them , they just look like all frizzy and horse like hair.. the real hair extensions ( clip in recommended ) are like around 100-150 bucks at a good store..

get your phone book, and call around for the best deal .

but honestly they get VERY annoying so easily.. like you'll love them for about a month.. but then when you go out and stuff, they tend to fall out alot and stuff, and when you get them sewn in they just tug at your hair and you have alot of bumps in the back of your head..

    not attractive..

hope i helped :)How much do hair extensions cost?
Cost depends on a number of factors. The type of hair extension, the amount of hair used, the length of hair or the look desired. Also, geography plays a part. NYC, LA, Chicago, will be more expensive that smaller towns across the USA, due to expenses incurred by the salon.

A top of the line hair extension system like Great Lengths, HairDreams, Remylinks, will cost more because of the premium nature of the hair. It costs the salon more money to buy, hence the added costs to the customer. To add body to hair, figure you need $600 and up, to add length, figure $1500 and up.

There are more affordable methods. In general with what I said earlier, the duration the extension lasts, plays a factor in price also. If it last a couple of months, it will be cheaper than something that lasts up to 6 months. You can get a system like UltraTress and Simplicity for around $500, which is an affordable option.

Be careful just judging on price. If it cost $200 for full head of hair extensions, stay away. They will probably destroy your hair.

Use only 100% Natural Remy Human Hair Extensions. Avoid Synthetic, and make sure the person is a licensed hair dresser.
'So how much are hair extensions?'

it depends if you choose synthetic fibre or human hair.

synthetic you can buy for very cheap, because they are a plastic fibre they may look like real hair for a bit, but they can turn pretty nasty looking and you cannot straighten/curl or use heat on these as they will burn and ruin,

100% human hair is the hair extensions i buy. because basically nobody will be able to tell you are wearing them as they are the aturalist when it comes to hair extensions. if you get the right colour and length. it will look like your own hair.

you can straighten and curl these too and use them in your normal hair ruitine.

these can range in price. if you want good hair yaki human hair is the priciest. in a salon it could range from 拢150-400 ( $320-$800)

or you can just buy the weft itself for (in the uk 拢30-拢60) (in the us around $70-$150)

'And will they affect your hair in a bad way?'

    Yes and No

For people who use the clip in method of extensions it can pull on your hair roots, which may result in thinner or slight bald areas (in bad cases),

For people who use the sew in method its less likely to cause dammage to your natural hair follicals and the roots.

you will need someone to sew the weft to your hair for that method.

Theres other methods like glue %26amp; microrings, they are the most fiddley.

and its best to speak to someone with experience with bonding glue and microrings

    Good Luck
It depends on what type you get and where you live. Prices vary with each stylist. They can range anywhere from $500 to $2500. There are 2 common types of extensions - weaves and keratin bonded. Weaves are when they braid the hair and sew the hair to each tiny braid. Keratin bonded extensions are made out of keratin obviously - but it is the same protein your hair is made of. It isn't very damaging at all, and it looks much more natural than a weave. They apply these strands with heat. Ask around, most stylist do a free consultation for extensions!
Fake ones like jessica simpson (they are still nice) are like 100-150$ (where i live) but real hair ones are like 300-400$ and those are the ones you want if you want to curl them or straighten them. Hair extensions really start to thin out your hair because you are always taking them out.. but they do the truck ahha. Hope you find some you like : ):)
if you get clip in ones they are about 100 or up.

if you want like really nice ones that stay in and you

get them done in a saloon 200 +
depends on your hair type. Where u buy the hair from. And how much they charge to put the extensions in.

Extensions with hair included range from $150 - $400.00

What's the average price of hair extensions at a hair salon?

I am looking for shoulder length extensions, nothing fancy, super expensive, or over the top. I live in a rural state so no outrageous beauty scene. What would the ballpark cost be? Thanks. What's the average price of hair extensions at a hair salon?

What kind of hair extensions are the best?

Money really isnt a issue, but id like to keep it below a 100 if possible.

    i want long hair.

    problem: my hair grows SLOWWW.

Right now i have a black scene haircut. And id like to get some extensions that blend in with my hair and look natural.

preferably some that i can straighten or curl and brush and maybe even dye. Basically clip in ones that i can do whatever with.

Is there any brands i should be on the lookout for? What kind of hair extensions are the best?
Brand doesn't matter just make sure it says that it's REAL hair. Clip in's are fun but if you want to use them every day it get's annoying to have to take them out and put them in every day (I have them... I know) but if you like to change your look every day then clip ins are great :)What kind of hair extensions are the best?
You probably want REAL HAIR extentions.

You can get them from Sally's Beauty Supplies. What I found is easiest to do is buy the chair clips that are usually located right next to the extentions, and sew them onto the clip. That way you can use them over and over again. Gluing them in is not a good idea. It will tear your haiar out and the glue is hard to get out. Sewing them onto your head is a better idea, but then they eventually have to be taken out and usually cant be used again since they have been washed so amny times. thats why I think it's better to sew them onto clips becasue you can take them out every day and they do not get damaged. and you can cut them and do whatever you would like to them. :)
my friend has these and they look really nice (she found them at Winners for super cheap!)

How do i get out my hair extensions (keratin wax) at home or with some product?

So now it's been 3 months and my extensions are really getting on my nerves. They tangle all the time and don't look to healthy anymore, i want them out!

What kind of home products or cheap ';remover'; can i use? I really don't want to put my hair through anymore damage...How do i get out my hair extensions (keratin wax) at home or with some product?
Acetone. Apply it to the bond and let it sit for a minute. The bond should start to crumble. Can be tedious work but this is how they would do it in the salon. How do i get out my hair extensions (keratin wax) at home or with some product?
You should never remove hair extensions by yourself. that is how people damage their hair, and give hair extensions a reputation for damaging hair.

Hair extensions do not damage your hair as long as they are professionally applied and removed. Please go to a hair extensions salon and remove them correctly.
I went to my local beauty supply store (queens) and bought this stuff i cant remember what the name brand was but it was a bond remover was oil based my tracks came right out but it still broke off some of my hair i would recommend sewing in your extenstions next time.

  • Is there a such thing a hair extensions for natural black hair that isn't slick down straight or too shiny?

if you get extensions on your hair, you wanna get something that matches your hair. For exaple same hair color and type of hair curly, waivy or straight. unless you are using them as highlights you can use a different color.
you want a weave or are you looking to do twists? I recommend twists, and I use this texture: http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-25194928405/a> , but you could also do a sew in with whatever texture hair you choose.
yes get it from claires acsesories

How to put in Hot Topic hair extensions?

I bought a packet of those blue clip-in synthetic hair extensions (comes with two extensions) at Hot Topic but I don't know how to put them in.

Can someone give me instructions on how to put them in my hair? How to put in Hot Topic hair extensions?
You just pop out the clip. Slide it into backcombed hair. Push in the center of clip, and it will close when your hear the pop.

Those extensions suck. %26gt;.%26gt;How to put in Hot Topic hair extensions?
separate the hair were you want to place the extention. Spray a little extra hold hairspray at the root, and tease until you can't run your comb through easily. Let the hair lye and place extention. Make sure to cover w/ a little of your natural hair, so you can't see where the extention is held in at!
Well, I think you should ask the person who sold them to you....

    Good Luck - Have fun!!!

BTW- I have blue extensions too!!! But not from Hot Topic tho....
tease a little then just put them like you going to brush your hair, make sure there opne, then close them

My hair is a little above my shoulders. I don't want perminant...its more like just to see if i want longer hair cause ive never had it before...maybe to wear it for like a couple days.

the good ones are around 200$How much does it cost to get good quality hair extensions?
1 If you only want to wear it for a couple of days, I would suggest using clip ins instead of the typical hair extension method like sew in hair extensions or fusion.

#2 A sew in application service can run between $150 to $600 depending on your area. Really. A fusion application service can run between $250 and $1500. Again, depending on your area. However, you put your clip ins yourself.

#3 For the most natural looking hair extensions, you always want to buy 100% human hair. Quoting the clip in page from hairextensions.com, a 1pc Clip ins, 100% human hair, bearing Jessica Simpson's name, in 17 inch is on sale for $210.00. On the same site, an 8 pc, 100% human hair, bearing Raquel Welch's name, in 18 inch is on sale for $239. So prices all over the park. Do you homework. Shop online. The best prices for 100% human hair are online.

#4 Since I have answered your question, let me tell you about us. Jaguar Luxury manufactures its own brand of 100% human hair extensions. We manufacture for salons and brands like those seen on hairextensions.com. And we manufacture under our own brand. We sell a 10 pc, 100% human hair, in 22 inch, for $150.00. A longer length for a better price. Therefore, you can cut to any style you like. Basically, our Jaguar Luxury Remi Hair brand is wholesale prices directly to consumers. You may find our ads in Sister 2 Sister Magazine, Hype Hair Magazine, and Modern Salon Magazine. or just google the words ';remi hair'; and we are usually on the first page. We teach free classes at all the top beauty shows like Bronner Brothers and Premiere Beauty. By the way, the next free video on our site will be on how to apply clip ins.

Hope the info on us wasn't a bore. Hope i answered your question.

How do i get started with hair extensions?

i want long hair. so i was going to get extensions. i have no clue to how to get started. i have a lot of questions... how do i get them? where do i get them? and who puts them in? how much will they cost? do i buy glue? if so what kind? or clip-ins?

Thanks for the help! How do i get started with hair extensions?
you could get them at any beauty supply and it's best to buy them made from natural hair... I love the clip ins but they cost about $100 or more if you're going to glue the weft of course you have to buy glue... the clip ins are easy to put on and if you don't have a lot of money you can buy the hair extensions, buy the clips and sew them yourself here take a look at these videos

There are many places that sell hair extensions, you can even buy them in hairdressers occasionally. I used to glue my hair extensions in, and it REALLY damaged my hair even with the cream to remove the glue afterwards.

I would suggest buying the hair extensions (which can cost as little as 拢20) and then buy a couple packs of the clips to sew in yourself. You can buy extensions with the clips already attatched, but you usually get less hair for the same price.
DO NOT GET GLUE, WEAVE, OR ANY OTHER METHOD, i had them all and they damage like crazy, they get so knotted and frizzy after a while (4 weeks approx) my hair was quite long and thick but i wanted it longer and after taking them out my hair is SO thin And above my shoulders and its very porous, so now i just use clip ins and they look so much better and natural, now im using raquel welsh but iv tried many others these are 100% human hair and are very thick ive also had synthetic these Look good but get a bit tangled and require a lot of brushing and conditioning, but the 100% human hair clips you can die , curl, straighten, and more just like your normal hair but need a bit more treatments to keep healthy. you can also buy online foxy locks are also great too and extra thick prices are More cheaper online mine were from hair house ware house and cost $300.00 but have lasted over a year now and am getting more soon as after a year or two you will need more hair for thickness as they dont grow back. they are also super easy to apply and every one tells me that it looks SOo real, hope you find sum

    Hello

My name is Patricia from http://NYCHairSalon.com, we do over 35 Different Hair extension types, so I have an answer for you that you are not going to like.

You should not do it by yourself, of have a friend help. that is how you get your hair damaged and tangled. Best thing is to go to a professional. The person who put them in, should make those adjustments for you free of charge, if you had them put in recently. If it wasnt recent, then you should go for a maintaince.

Doing it the right way, will be healthier for your hair in the long term.

If you want to try the short cut way and do it by yourself, check in youtube.com for some videos on people doing it themselves.

    Good Luck to you

How can you tighten hair extensions by yourself?
    Hi,

I am sorry to say you cant tighten them yourself. I used have glue in extensions like you have and they are a pain. The hair always gets thin and sheds out, they come loose and end up costing a fortune to keep.

My best advice for you would be to get some clip in hair extensions, they are made using the same lovely human hair that you probably have now and they dont damage the hair and last much longer. You can get some clip in hair extensions at www.headkandy.com I get mine there and they are really nice quality.

Good luck with your extensions and I hope you do switch over to clipins, its the best thing I ever did :)

How do you apply cheap, single strand hair extensions without them looking as cheap as they really are?

    I bought them for like two dollars at crazy clarks and i think they have the potential to look sweet, but, i need to know;

Where should i put them so they will look good

    and

Do i hide the top under the hair or just clip in on top?

I have short/medium hair, they bottom reaches my shoulders but i have exceedingly short layers.

Thanks in advance! How do you apply cheap, single strand hair extensions without them looking as cheap as they really are?
it sounds like it's just a colour chunk you want to put in. If it's stick straight make sure you flatten you hair to make it stick straight first. Ditto with waves or curls. The length of the extension should match the length of your hair/layer it's on. You don't want the clip to show so don't attach it on a top layer. Have fun:)How do you apply cheap, single strand hair extensions without them looking as cheap as they really are?

Human hair is a lot better than synthetic

Where to get good hair extensions done in London?
I don't live in London but i have had extensions for years and there is nothing like real human hair extensions. Synthetic hair you can't style it or straighten it or curl it or even wash it. Just search around on the net or around town. There are sure to be salons that to extensions near you. Good luck and congratulations on the wedding!!

I searched online and found a few websites for you:

hi, that will REALLY damage your hair. You should go with HUMAN HAIR clip-in extensions as they will not damage your hair and can be curled, straightened, crimped, etc.... I have made a set for a friend a while back for her wedding and she loved them.

I make clip-in hair extensions if your interested. Please view my store:

    http://hernandezextensions.etsy.com

I do not have any full head sets available in my store as I only take custom orders on full sets. When buying clip-ins, the color must match and the thickness must match and they will look amazing........
i would look into clip ins for your wedding, as the glue methods are fairly permanent and depending on where you go for your honeymoon they can be affected by the heat (sun, sea water etc).

What do sewn in hair extensions look like when they are growing out?

I am considering hair extensions because the hair around my crown area an the top of my head is much shorter that the rest of my hair. Before I go ahead with this, i was wondering if anyone could tell me what extensions generally look like when they are growing out. I am leaning towards the sewn in extensions, but I want to make sure I have all of the facts before I move forward. Any help would be greatly appreciated! What do sewn in hair extensions look like when they are growing out?
It's best not to keep them in for more than 2 to 3 months, as this is when your hair growth starts to show, and people will then be able to definatly tell you have extensions and you don't want the embarresment of someone telling you your track is showing.

Sew in really is the best for your hair, it has no glue or heat which can seriously damage and break your hair, have fun

I love long hair ;)What do sewn in hair extensions look like when they are growing out?
Explore better hair extensions types, like fusion hair extensions, before you do sew in hair extensions. Go to a professional hair extensions salon for advice.

Whats the difference between synthetic and human hair extensions?

Also do the human hair extensions look real?Whats the difference between synthetic and human hair extensions?
Synthetic are fake, basically like plastic. So you cannot straighten, blow dry, or curl them because they would just melt! With the human hair extentions, look much real and you can style them as much as you would like and they won't melt!

Good Luck!Whats the difference between synthetic and human hair extensions?
synthetic hair is fake.. and human hair usually uses part real hair and part synthetic, so it looks more natural and less like a wig :)
Human hair extensions are made out of real hair. Synthetic hair extensions are made out of plastic.

Human hair extensions only look real if the color match is good and the attachment portion is done well.
Synthetic hair extensions cannot have any heat. You can't use hot rollers or curling irons because they will melt. Human hair extentions are more expensive, but you treat it just like it was your own. You can wash them, curl them, blow them dry.
    Well, let's see...

    1. synthetic hair extensions = synthetic hair

    2. human hair extensions = human hair

If you are a human, human hair extensions probably look more real... Because they use REAL (human) hair!

If they are installed bad, either will look bad.

  • What is the best way to cut hair extensions?

I recently bought clip in hair extensions, they are in one long strip and I am not sure what is the best way to cut them. Like, how many pieces and where would they go? I've been told by some people to just cut them into 3 strips but then I have also heard you cut all sorts of little bits off for random places in your head. I don't wanna get too complex but obviously if I cut them in a way that won't work I will ruin them. I probably sound completely stupid here so help would be appreciated! What is the best way to cut hair extensions?
How you cut them depends upon where you want the hair to go i.e. in the back and above your ear to make your hair seem longer, in the top for fullness, etc. First measure the hair around your head in the places where you want it to go then cut it. Hope that makes sense. What is the best way to cut hair extensions?

How often do you wash clip in hair extensions?

I recently got clip in hair extensions, %26amp; I was wondering about their care? Do you wash them while they are still in your hair [my freind does tha, but it seems wierd]? Is there a special kind of shampoo to use? How often do you have to wash them? Do you wash them one piece at a time or all together?

They are black 20-inch 16-width Remi grade ones, with 8 pieces, if that makes any difference. How often do you wash clip in hair extensions?
you just wash em as you would your mormal hair. You can leave em clipped in or take em out, it doesnt make a difference :)How often do you wash clip in hair extensions?
I would wash them separately because while your hair is wet it is fragile and the combs can cause unnecessary tension. You can use any shampoo just make sure you use a good moisturizing conditioner and lay flat to dry to maintain body and softness.

What is the best conditioner for fusion hair extensions?

My high-quality extensions have been getting really tangled lately. I'm careful to only shampoo my scalp, and I'm using a heavy conditioner in the shower as well as a detangler after, but they still tangle. Any suggestions? What is the best conditioner for fusion hair extensions?
I recommend Joico Silk Result in combination with Silk Result shampoo. My question to you would be how long have you had these extensions...may be time for replacement? You could be trying to be too careful and not detangling the hair close to the scalp with a wide toothed comb, which is very important. If this is not the problem use a Malabu Treatment that can be purchased at your local Sally Beauty Supply. Leave on your hair 40min wrapped in a plastic bag and towel then wash and condition. What ever you do do NOT use a hot oil treatment as it will deteriorate the seal of the fusion. What is the best conditioner for fusion hair extensions?

What are the best hair extensions to get? and where in Sydney (Australia do you recommend?

    What methods are the best?

    How long does it take?

What sort of maintanace issue can you encounter?

Can you dye it ?What are the best hair extensions to get? and where in Sydney (Australia do you recommend?
I don't recommend the glue/bonded extensions - they'll ruin you hair, and the glue becomes tacky when you style with heat.

Again, woven extensions aren't recommended. They'll drive you mad - you'll have a heck of a time tryna wash you hair properly becomes you cant get right into the scalp.

The best ones you can get are the tiny metal or plastic clip type. Your own hair is pulled thru these little rings with the extended hair attached, and then the ring is pulled up to ur scalp to fit snug and are secured by ';clipping'; them in (which is pinching them so they grab onto your real hair). They'll allow more movement, are harder to detect so they look more natural, but will stay put.

If you pay for genuine hair extensions (eg non synthetic) you can cut them, dye them, and treat them exactly like your own hair.

They'll need to be maintained as the hair grows out. Somewhere between every 3-6 months they'll need to be re-tightened.

The length of time they take to put in varies depending on the amt of extension hair u choose to pay for. If you want length, you'll pay slightly less than if you desire thickness and length as a result.

In your area, i recommend ';Pierre Haddad'; salon in the city. I think it's close to either Town Hall or Central station. They'll consult you, and trust me, they have the best quality hair on the market (European or Russian hair extensions). Be prepared to pay quite abit, but the results are worth it.

Whatever u choose, goodluck :)What are the best hair extensions to get? and where in Sydney (Australia do you recommend?

What shampoo and conditioner is good for Hair Extensions?

Is Mane N Tail okay to use for hair extensions? Pureology seems to expensive and I like have no more money. What shampoo and conditioner is good for Hair Extensions?
There is no point in spending good money on hair that is already 'dead'. The only thing extensions would need is a conditioner or rinse so you can comb it out easily.

Extensions or synthetic hair does not receive the normal oil secretion from the hair follicles and glands like real hair does off your scalp. So it is not growing hair. Just wash it with ordinary shampoo and save your money of other stuff you may need. What shampoo and conditioner is good for Hair Extensions?

I hope I have helped. www.ultimatehairextensions.com and www.ultimatehairextensions.com.au and www.ultimatehairextensions.net.auHow much would real hair extensions cost?
Depends where you go. If you get the clip in extensions, the 18'; at Sally Beauty Supply are $100. If you go to a salon and get real ones that are 18 inch (past the chest) they will cost anywhere from $600 to over $1000 depending on if your getting them sewed, glued, weaved, ect. and how thick your hair is (because the thicker your hair, the more they need to put it). You have to go get consultations at each salon to determine the price, but I garuantee, the real ones will be at least $600. Also, you should know that you have to spend and extra $100 every couple months to get them re-adjusted.
Find someone who does the I-tip method:

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/human-hair-ex/a>

Get those kind, at any Sally Beauty store. DO NOT GET GLUE OR SEWN IN! I am speaking from experience. I've had sewn in tracks and they make your hair a rats nest when it grows out.

I currently have extensions in my hair, and the I-tips are the best and less damaging to your hair. You buy the hair, and then the beads and basically you put your hair through the bead and then put the extension in the bead and clamp it down. That's it!

If you live near Los Angeles, I know someone who can put them in for $50 flat. The hair costs $21-25 a bundle (for 20 strands in each pack). Total it will only cost no more than $200, and that is the best deal for extensions you will ever find.
They can be as little as a couple hundred to thousands of dollars... and they can REALLY damage your hair.

I would just wait for it to grow.

You can have many problems with them.
No clue who this person your talking about is, but I recommend you just grow you hair.
they are very expensive from $150- even thousands. if you really want the real thing!

What is the average cost of getting hair extensions?

Real hair, at least the nice stuff? What is the average cost of getting hair extensions?
It all depends on what you're looking at.

For clip in extensions you'll need two packs to cover.

18'; for one pack is $70. So for two packs you'll need $140 to cover the entire head.

However- clip in extensions do some of the most damage.

    Now then,

    for fusion %26amp; microlink extensions-

You need about 250 strands to cover the entire head for most people, if their hair is shoulder length already anyways.

The number of strands also varies on the thickness of a persons hair.

Fusion don't last as long, but take less time to install.

Microlinks, clearly more time- but these extensions are reusable. If they fall out you can easily put them back in yourself.

While with fusion if they fall out, you're pretty much just going to have to throw away those strands.

A lot of people actually suggest weaves.

%26amp; the extensions that are 'invisible' that you use glue %26amp; gently press onto your head are a joke.

Sure you can remove them, but they rip out the most hair.

Those are the extension methods I know, sorry I can't be of more help.

    Oh.

idk, ask britneyy spears her hair was supposedly attacked by lice, so just grow it out, haha or shave it ...do that whole bald look

    oops did it again,
The reason synthetic hair doesn't last as long as human hair is because you can't wash it or treat it like natural hair. It's made of plastic fiber and tangles very easily. Depending on your hair texture, hair extensions can last up to a few months if you take care of them properly. Some synthetic hair, like Kanekelon, can withstand low amounts of heat, but you're better off going for human hair if you want it to last. *This is from my wife, BTW, who knows hair stuff!
alittle advice PWEASE dont get stupid synthetic hair. im not a hair specialist or whatever but right now im wearing synthetic clip in extensions. let me tell u...they suck ***. i'ved been having them for a month now and...well i look like the grudge or more like a mop. its so frizzy and looks straight as fake. mine are fourteen inch and they were 89$ by Pop...the price says it all [[CHEAPPPP]]. well good luck

    (\__/)

    (='.'=)

    ('') ('')
That's 3 months continuous wear. What it is telling you is that at about the 3 month stage the hair extensions will start to fall out meaning you just have to re-do them again. To keep them in good condition I suggest using conditioner on the ends as well as a good hair serum %26amp; letting them dry naturally. Hope this helps :]

yeah you totally can- just make sure u use good dye and you have to make sure the extensions are in a warm place to make up for the heat that would naturally be on your head..

Because the person who does my hair doesnt do extensions so i want to be able too tell her how they do it differently with extensions in..

Thanks!I have paris hilton hair extensions in and I need to get my roots dyed will that damage the extensions?
Hey I think based off of your question it appears you have the hair extensions with metal at the end of the bonding? If this is so, the metal clip will turn your hair ';green'; when the developer touches it. I do not recomment getting it colored since it could potentially damage or discolor your hair. Furthermore, I am an extension applicator for GreatLengths Hair extensions - if you have bonding ';fusion'; technology in your hair versus the metal clips than It could and will be safe to dye your roots without causing any discoloration. Also, and any color line will be safe when dying your roots with keratin bonded extensions (like GreatLengths Hair). However, just to advise you that your extension hair cannot be highlighted because it will destroy the structure of your hair extensions.

I recommend going back to your extension applicator and getting their recommendation or at least calling them to get information. Because there could be some color lines that will work better with your situation.

You can also visit my website if anyone or you considering getting top of the line human hair extensions with fusion bonding through Greatlengths.

no the same person who put them in should dye your hair. if the lady who dyes your hair knows what she's doing it should be okay, but if she doesn't, she could totally mess up your extensions, and you'll have to get them totally redone.

you shouldn't have gotten extensions if you're going to be cheap on the upkeep of them.

You can go to a store that specializes in hair extensions in your area, and for pretty cheap you can find all lengths and colors of extensions.

If you cannot find the color you want, you can color your hair and the extensions.

If you do that, make sure you color the extensions before putting them in your hair.

Always make sure that you are buying 100 percent human hair or you wont be able to color or have heat applied to it.

If you want very long hair make sure to go past 12 inches. Look for 18-24 inches. 6-8 inches will give you shoulder length hair.

    Anyway..
Quite honestly, I would advise you to check out Sally's just to try to match up your color to the extenstions since online pictures of hair can be decieving.

You will physically have to compare the colors to ensure that you made the right choice.

If you still want to go the online payment route, you can find the exact same brand and purchase with ease.
You can check the colour chart for a colour you think is right using the source link below. Then to make sure you're happy with the colour, request a sample to be sent to you. That way, you can also be sure you're happy with the quality.

Also, you can always colour your extensions if they're human hair. Good luck!
youll probably have to dye ur hair and extensions together after you get them do they match right.... coz ull never get the same shade

How much do professional hair extensions typically cost?

Anyone know how much permanent hair extensions cost at a salon? Every time I inquire, they say it all depends on the length of your hair, the thickness, etc. I just want a ballpark figure. How much do professional hair extensions typically cost?
i used to pay around 100-150 to get them sewed in depends how many tracks you would want(including the hair) =DHow much do professional hair extensions typically cost?
Prepare to pay AT LEAST $300. You will need to pay for the hair, which is pretty expensive if it is good quality, human hair. Also, for the application, which can take hours (depending on the type of extensions)
It really depends on the salon and the stylist. Some stylists are excellent salespeople and they Will convince you to buy the most expensive hair. Then they charge you again for the upkeep and again to remove them.

Get clip hair extensions. They vary in cost but they last forever and look great. You can also put them in yourself. Try www.hairinaminute.com they cost about $120 for the human hair
yes they do-- the salon i worked at extensions on average cost a couple hundred dollars- by the time they purchased the extensions and then paid for the appointments to have them put in. (the appointments were usually a few hours)... You can always ask to go in for a consultation- probably somewhere will do them for free- and then they can look at your hair vs what you want and give you a ballpark estimate.
they usually cost from $20 and up. It depends on the company. But you could get really good deals at Sally's Beauty Store.

I knew someone who got extensions to go to a wedding and the first day they looked cute, and then they started getting all weird. They became very dry and just looked like fried hair underneath her nice hair. I would say don't get them. I don't know anyone else that got them, but she got them at a pretty good hair place so I think that happens a lot. What do you guys think of girls with hair extensions?
I'm not a guy, but I'm a girl with hair extensions and after i got them the guys were like ALL over me. I though they'd be immature about it and try to pull it out and stuff, since i was in 7th grade and 7th grade guys are so immature. but make sure that you get the authentic premium Remy hair extensions, they look SO much better.
im not a guy, but most guys hate them. but it depends what girl they go for.

if they go for like - the peroxide blonde, dirty orange skin with hair extensions you can blatently see are fake, then your good to go.

but if they like more natural girls then its a big no no.

so it depends what category you fall into.

    but then theres also scene.

    x
Guys i know, when i had extensions, used to be all 'LOL YOU HAVE FAKE HAIR' and kept tugging it out and such.

Then again most guys are really immature.

I think its a turn off to them cos they'd prefer it if girls were more like...natural? That or they dont want to be pulling out handfulls of hair when being rough lmao.

What is a typical price range for European hair extensions?

I'm looking into getting hair extensions for my wedding. Not the clip-on things but the ones that actually fuse to your hair. Certain salons do them. How much do they usually cost? Can I get them for less than $300? What should I know about them? What is a typical price range for European hair extensions?
Extensions are extremely expensive and there's different kinds. the fusions that are done with glue are the least expensive ranging from $250 - $350. Then there is the microlinking technique which is better for your hair, but cost way more starting at $400-$600. None of these prices inlcude the human hair which is always at least $150. These techniques are both individual strand by strand methods. the other one is the malysian techniques which uses a weft to bond it to the scalp and either a micro-link or a piece of thread to lock it to certain strands of your hair. I have done all 3 and i like the Malaysian technique the best. it's normally the least expensive too starting at about $200. Good luck with that! Do some more research too. What is a typical price range for European hair extensions?

Ive ordered from them several times, and no one can compare to them.

    they are just amazing!

Where can I buy loop hair extensions besides online?

I live in America and wanted to know if I could buy the loop hair extensions elsewhere online. And if not a good website trustworthy that isn't too expensive.Where can I buy loop hair extensions besides online?
If you want to buy loop hair extensions from a supplier that isn't online, it may be worth checking the yellow pages for a local hairdresser supplier. There also may be a local online seller who will let you come to their store or salon and view the extensions before buying.

There are quite a few trustworthy hair extension suppliers online in the US and other countries such as the UK, Canada and Australia. My company is based in Australia and we sell a lot of extensions to the US because the exchange rate makes it quite cheap to buy from here.

When you look for a supplier, a good way to work out if they are experienced is to check out their before and after pictures. If they don't have any, the chances are they are new to the game and possibly may not be trustworthy. Also, an online supplier who in confident in their hair extensions will be happy to send out a sample of their hair before you purchase. Good luck!

  • Where can i get good quality clip in hair extensions in Edmonton?

I got a haircut and since my hare was pretty dead, lots got cut off. Now i absolutly HATE it, Where can i get the cheapest good quality extensions ?Where can i get good quality clip in hair extensions in Edmonton?
Definitely go for human hair extensions, they do cost a bit more (not too much) but are 100% worth it. You can style them however you want and use hot tools on them unlike synthetic hair.

I would highly recommend Foxy Locks extensions. I can't stop banging on about them ha! They are so thick and soft, the prices are great as well considering the quality and the amount of hair you get. Check them out: http://www.foxylocksextensions.com xWhere can i get good quality clip in hair extensions in Edmonton?
I actually just got clip in extensions yesterday. I got them from the Clairview area. It kind of by that little plaza by the Empire Movie Theatre, and it's behind Future Shop. It's called ';Images and Shades';. They also have a West End location.

    14 Inch hair extensions are around $50, 16 Inch: $62, 18 inch: $74

Then you can buy the clips for about a dollar each, you will need about 12. Then you can just go to Wal Mart and buy quilting thread (the thickest thread) and just sew the clips on. Your total should be about $75 if you get the 16 inch.

You can also buy some with the clips already attached. They run from about $115. I wouldn't recommend getting them because not only do you get less hair, but they also don't make it specifically for you and so they can look really fake. And all together they cost much less. Images and Shades is the best for hair extensions in Edmonton. My Stylist recommended it to me.

    their website is: imagesandshades.ca

The prices on there are deceiving, I say you go to the store to check it out yourself.
sally's. If you get 10 inch extensions it's 11$ USD and it comes with A LOT of hair. but you have to sew in your own clips. it's east, and they sell the clips at sally's too. if you want longer extensions, like 20 inches, it's like 45 dollars. Worth it too. they can be straightened or curled. It says they are human hair, but I'm not sure if they can be dyed.

I'd recommend doubling it up because it's pretty thin.
okay well you can got to your local beauty supply store, or even trade secrets and get a pack of human hair extentions, human hair because you can straighten it curl it and scrunch it :P

because it will be around like 100$ get a pack of hair and sew the clips in yourself it will save you a allot !

and its not that hard to do

Okay, so what you have to do is part your hair where you want the extension to go. Make a ponytail where you want your hair to stay. Clip it in and comb your real hair over it so the track or whatever wont show. I hope I helped.
well it depends on what kind of clip in extensions u are talking about.. is is the one with the little comb or the one with an actual butterfly clip?

be more specific and i'll tell u how to put it in. if it helps go on to youtube.com and type in hair extensions- u'll be able to find a how to video there. good luck

  • Can hair extensions make your real hair get shorter?

I have extensions and there clip ons. When I take them out my natural hair seems to be shorter then what it used to be. I don't know if it just seems shorter or like it's doing this to my hair. Can hair extensions make your real hair get shorter?
You just think that because it's such a change. Your extensions are not making your hair any shorter. Can hair extensions make your real hair get shorter?
Alot of clips or extensions can damage your real hair and cause breakage. That's why you probably feel like it is shorter.
yes because it causes hair breakage which means shorter hair when you remove the extentions. i would never think about hair extensions but of course i do have really long hair and don't need too.
i actually just went in to get my hair trimmed last week and asked my stylist about hair extentions.. depending on how you take care of them and maintain them your hair should be fine as for it feeling shorter its because when you have the extensions in your hair is allot fuller and when you take them out it of course isn't so you do feel a difference... some people think that your hair falls out or whatever but if you think about it your hair falls out so much everyday and with hair extensions clipped on in stays in the ';clip';..... when you take them out it look like your hair falls out so0o0 much but its just been accumulating with time and would have fallen out anyways... make sense?
i don't think it makes your hair shorter...i also have clip on hair extensions and when i take them off my hair does not look or feel shorter...and my friend who goes back to korea a lot, she gets hair extensions with the braids and she took them off like 3 monthes ago and hair actually looked the same length when the hair extensions were on

What type of hair extensions should I get?

I'm an african-american female with shoulder length hair that is naturally curly but has a relaxer. I want to get extensions that look and feel like my own hair. I'm interested in fusion, Malaysian or Great Lengths, but I heard that you can't come your hair with Great Lengths and you can't use oily products with fusion. Can someone tell me what are my best options and a little detail? What type of hair extensions should I get?
Hey there. Good day. I wanted to write you in response to your question. I am a certified Great Lengths hair extensionist and should be able to help you in regards to Great Lenghts. Great Lengths Hair extensions are 100% human hair and have been treated with new millian that creates almost brand new undamaged human hair and will work, function, and play the same way as if it was your very own hair.

You absolutely can comb and use product in your hair. You will need to treat your fusion bonds with anti-tap water, and Great Lengths offers shampoo and conditioners to help with maintaining your new Great Lengths Hair extensions.

As far as your options I highly recommend Great Lengths, although pricey, the hair is phenomenal quality. I have yet to find hair that truly compares. The bonding is so small it goes unnoticed and with the patented keratin and bonding process they are in for a very long time and will function just like your real hair. You will be able to swim, bathe, shower, comb, tug etc... the hair is bonded in. In addition, the bonds are specially designed to allow your natural hair to breathe, creating no damage to your real hair upon removal.

Again, I offer these hair extensions and depending on where you live would love to perform the service for you.

Please visit my website. If you decide to schedule a FREE CONSULTATION just send me an email or call me on the number on my website.

Hi .........most places have absolutely no idea unless you just need your good old straight hair. I am a hair dresser and i only ever send my customers to Gold Coast Xtensions %26amp; Beauty. The lady is amazing and knows everything about all the different types of hair and her quality is amazing.

I would ring her on 0401 403 013 she sell all types of hair extensions permanent, clip-ins straight, curly, wavy, Asian, European, Russian, Indian and all different attachment options.

How often should I wash my hair extensions?

I have just received human hair extensions.

I'll be wearing them basically everyday,

so how often should I wash them,

do I just use normal shampoo and conditioner?

Any other advice/suggestions?How often should I wash my hair extensions?
You should not wash them more than 2 times a week to have them nice for a longer time.Use an hydrating shampoo and conditionner because they always need to be very well hydrating, ask your beauty salon for a professional shampoo, conditioner and maybe a traitment.www.joliemeche.comHow often should I wash my hair extensions?
Wash them at least 3 times a week.

Be careful with them, because as expensive

as they are they're very delicate. When you

wash them be careful to not yank the hairs out.

Shampoo and condition just how you should

wash your hair. Do not blow dry them.

And use one of these combs to brush them.

For shampoo and conditioner I recommend

    you to use Tresemme.

    http://images.google.com/images?gbv=2%26amp;hl/a>

    It has excellent hair products.
once every two weeks unless they get really noticeably dirty.

How do i keep my human hair extensions soft and silky after i wash them?

I have had hair extensions put in 3 times, but everytime i get them, they get very dry on the ends after i wash them a few times. Does anyone know how i can keep them shiny looking? I am using top of the line shampoo and conditioner and a leave in conditioner. How do i keep my human hair extensions soft and silky after i wash them?
I use to have this problem but not anymore after washing your hair exstensions, do you condition it? do you put serum on it whenever you straighten it?

I always condition my hair with John Frieda conditioner and leave it for five minutes and wash it. Even as i wash it out i can feel how silky smooth my hair is. After washing it out i rub serum into my hair and either blow dry or straighten my hair exstensions.

I do this every two weeks and whenever i do my friends always go on about how my hair looks brand new.

Please try it my way i will be surprised if this doesnt work for you.

    Hope this helped.

    Ennie

:)How do i keep my human hair extensions soft and silky after i wash them?
Try not to blow dry your hair and try not to flat iron as much as you can avoid it. I started using Neutrogena's Deep Conditioning/Moisturizing products (light yellow tubes) with my extensions and they helped immensely. Other than that, if your ends are done, trim them a bit - otherwise, they'll keep splitting upwards and you'll be fried in no time.
Have you ever tried Bed Head After Party? It's a leave in creme, in a pink bottle. I put some on the ends of my hair before I blowdry it and then some before I straighten it. It's definitely the best product I've used for extensions, and it smells really good...

But maybe the hair that you have is not as good as it should be? It shouldn't get dry after only a few washes...
try using a mask conditioner on the hair, like this one:

    http://product.expotv.com/9/2/2/92243_15/a>

and brush it with a brush that has soft bristles because it makes the hair really shiny.
do not use any washing products you would use on your own hair no matter the price of them.

only use hair extension shampoos etc, the only product hthat doesnt matter is heat protecter.

A few brands to check out are x-10, racoon, balman....

    use head and shoulders shampoo!!!!!!!!!!

What is the best type of hair extensions to buy for cheap to curl my hair homecoming night?

For Homecoming in a week, I want hair extensions to curl my hair and make it longer. How much are they and what kind should I get? What is the best type of hair extensions to buy for cheap to curl my hair homecoming night?
Try Glamourhair.com. I would recommend trying the Instant hair extensions. They are clip on and come in different lengths colors and textures. You can have straight or curly and if you want longer hair such as 22 inches you can get a custom order for a modest price. All the hair for this product is human. So you can style it as you please There is also a great sale going on now where you can get the 18 inch which is pretty long for $99. The total plus tax is $113. I just ordered some usually the price is $170 so I would order thm now as they are only available for a limited time. What is the best type of hair extensions to buy for cheap to curl my hair homecoming night?
well if you are just using them for one night and taking them out i would get clip in human hair. If you get the synthetic hair the heat from the curling iron could melt them. I would go to sally's and there they have extensions anywhere from $20 to a couple hundred. The human hair can be dyed, curled, cut and everything else you can do to your own hair. I would go to a Sally's and talk to one of the associates there about what is best for you because everyone's hair is different.
If you want to curl/straighten the extensions, they'll have to be human hair. Synthetic can't be curled/straightened because it will melt. So you'll have to get the human hair... which is NOT cheap at all. I would go to your local beauty supply store and see if they have anything.
You can get Jessica Simpson hair extensions, they're not super cheap but they won't cost a fortune either. You can match your color pretty close, and they have straight and curly ones.

    http://www.hairuwear.com/jessica.aspx?pg/a>

    Good luck!
You need to go to Sally's and ask. Hair extensions aren't cheap no matter where you go.

How much do hair extensions usually cost?

I need medium length hair extensions like, maybe five inches? How much would that cost + getting them done at the salon? How much do hair extensions usually cost?
    Hello,

My name is Patricia from NYC Hair Salon, http://NYCHairSalon.com.

Price depends on a number of factors. The type of hair extension, length, and the amount of hair. It also depends in what area/country you are in. Urban cities will be more expensive than the country side.

For length, usually in the NYC, eastern US, you need on average $1200-$2000 for the length that you asked for, for a quality product, such as Great Lengths, Hair Dreams, SoCap, Remylinks, Hairlocs, etc. These tend to last 4-6 months.

You can get something more temporary, like a seemless for $500 that last 2 months or so, and that are reusable, but the pre-bonded, keratin based or micro-ring based systems, costs more money.

Make sure the person is licensed with the system, a real hair dresser with a license, and that they have experience in doing them. Make sure you see lots of Real Salon before and after pictures, not other company website pics.

    I hope that helps.

Completely depends upon the salon, the hair used and the system to install them. From 拢150-600.

  • How much is the application of hair extensions normally?

I want to get hair extensions put in professionally, I also want my hair dyed one solid color, where do the prices range?

And for how long do they stay in?How much is the application of hair extensions normally?

How much do hair extensions cost if you go to a professional?

Has anyone ever had hair extensions put in? If so, please tell me on average the cost! How much do hair extensions cost if you go to a professional?

A LOT, if it's reallll but still either way, fake or real!! =)

What type of hair extensions are good for thin/fine hair?

I have thin, fine hair. But it's not like, horrible thin or horribly fine. It backcombs good and doesn't put out easily when I do a strand test. It has been damaged by dyeing it, but I'm tired of being criticized by everyone on how thin my hair is. What type of hair extensions would be best for me? Weave, fusion, clip in?What type of hair extensions are good for thin/fine hair?
fusion ones are only going to make your hair even thinner when you are done with them, plus i dont knwo about you but they are high maintenence. and i only had a few of those put in for highlights. they got knotted, sticky if your head is hott... not fun.

a weave i would imaging would be uncomfortable as hell, and expensive.

your best bet is clip in ones. they wont damage your hair and you can take them out.

they are also the least expensive. What type of hair extensions are good for thin/fine hair?
    Clip in would probably be less damaging than the others, use a thickening shampoo and always use some kind of product to protect your hair =}
I say experiment with the clip in hair.
I would get fusion its a bit pricey but its worth it all the celebs has it

How do human hair extensions work?

How are hair extensions attached without being noticeable? Why can't you see the shorter length most of the time, and there is no sign of the place where it is attached at the part? How do human hair extensions work?
You can do them in a couple of ways:

You can get them bonded in: this means taking a track of human hair and using hair glue to bond the part in your hair at the root of your hair. This creates that flat look which gives the illusion of real hair coming from your scalp. This method isnt as good because you can damage your hair if you take it out improperly. Glue is glue, no matter for what.

You can also get extensions braided into your hair: Most African-American use this method. Your hair is braided into a cornrow first. You then take a track of human hair and the stylist literally sews the track into the braid into your hair. This creates a bulk but it soon relaxes.

Another way is to get hairclip extensions. I personally have never seen them but its the cheapest, but cheeziest way to me. It doesnt last as long but you can take them in and out.

People with shorter extensions get away with it more because it looks more natural. The longer the extension is depending on your hair length, the more of an illusion it presents rather than a natural look.

Most people blend their real hair in with the extensions so that it looks more natural. In most peoples hair you cant see the attached part is because the layer of hair over it is their real hair, the layer under it is the extension. People usually add hair extensions in the crown of their hair all the way towards the back. This is why it looks like their real hair.

If you want to add them to the front, you have to part your hair a certain way so you wont see the extension, or you can have human hair fused into the hair in the front which creates longer hair. Its all about blending.

Hair extensions can be beautiful but they also can be a disaster. If you get them done, ask to see pictures of past clients. Also ask around, you dont want to just sit in anyones chair.

Hope this helps:)How do human hair extensions work?
    hey that is a question...

You forgot about Great Lenghts hair extensions. They use a poloymer bond that mimmicks that natural poloymers in our hair. These extensions are currently being worn by Britney Spears...you can see the bonds when the hair is not professionally done..or coloured incorrectly.

They often sew the extensions very close to the roots of your hair near the middle of your head. They put enough hair so it looks like your hair is just layered. You can feel the part where the hair is sewn in, but nobody will know its there but you.
There are 2 ways they do it they can sew it in in which they braid your hair then sew they hair into the braids thats what you're talkin about or they can glue it onto your skelp.
I use a new product called ';e-z weft';. The extensions come in a long row and are trimmed into sections to fit your scalp. There are eyehooks along the row. A tool is used to pull your hair through the eyehooks and a ';bead';. Then the bead is clamped with a pair of needle nose pliers to secure the row.

Every 3 wks I get the beads tightened. Ther's a 14 inch difference between my hair and the extensions. I use a flat iron and various styling products to blend the two.
The best way to go is bonded extensions, like Great Lengths or Cinderella Hair. These are tiny, 100% European Hair strands that are fused, heat or adhesive, to a small piece of your real hair. Hundreds of these are done all over the head to blend the lengths together. They last up to six months, and can be washed, styled, and worn like your own hair. You can't see your shorter hair because the extensions are fused on top of your strands, covering them. The extensions are then layered into your hair. No one should be able to tell they aren't your hair. And generally, they are applied an inch or two away from any part of your hairline, so they aren't readily visible. They take about six hours for a full head, so patience is a virtue!

Braided (weave, track)extensions are a good way to go if you plan on wearing your hair down, and the length is not much longer than you shortest layer. The braids are usually done underneath the top layers of your hair, so your own hair lays on top of the sewn in hair. These last up to 2 or 3 months.

  • Are clip in hair extensions bad for your hair?

I'm planning on getting some clip in extensions to wear until my hair grows out. But, are they bad for your real hair? Is there anything good or bad I should know before making the purchase? Thanks! Are clip in hair extensions bad for your hair?
    No they are fine!

Ive been wearing clip in extensions for 3 years now, my hair is still in good condition

Think of it this way - Its just like clipping a bobby pin into your hair! That doesnt do any damage

And before you buy them, just know not too straighten or wash them too much, i did with my first set and they went thin and really scrawny as all the hair fell out of the waft at the top.

Hope i helpedAre clip in hair extensions bad for your hair?
you have to take them out everynight and if you dont put them in right they can hurt and you have to dry them seperatly to your real hair when you was them.

i wear mine often a few times a week and i have a friend who wear hers everyday

its depends on how ou are gonna look after them and how you already look after your real hair
nope, theres nothing bad about the clip in ones.

How to attach the clips on hair extensions?

So, I bought clip on hair extensions but bought the hair and the clips seperately meaning that I have to attach them myself. Although the saleswoman explained what to do I still have NO idea how to put the things on! Can someone please explain how I attach the clips onto the hair extensions NOT how to put them in my hair? How to attach the clips on hair extensions?
You have to cut the wefts to a certain size, then sew the (Snap Clips, probably) on the weft, see the three little holes on top? you sew the side opposite of the outward opening. Or you can use super glue. Also, you space the clips inches apart on a long-ish track, not on every part of the track
