What are some good hairstyles for long hair?

My hair is right below my ribs and I was wondering if there are any interesting hairstyles I could do. I do NOT have bangs or layers, it is just plain. And I do NOT want to go to the salon to get it cut or done. I just want something simple that I could do because it is too long to have it down on its own, without doing anything and I'm tired of having it in a ponytail or braid.



My hair is dirty blonde and each separate hair is thin, but there is a LOT of it so it seems thick. It is also very straight.What are some good hairstyles for long hair?

Well im a guy but i had hair up to my shoulders!! And miens my think too but i had it layered and made the lady took out some bushyness from my hair so now its awesome but since u dont want to i think you can Curl it and put it to one of your sides or even though you have straight hair use the flat iron bc i like my texture of my hair (i have naturally straight too) after it gets flat ironed. Or you can curl the tips of your hair too.
There are so many hairstyles for long hair, just need to try as many as you can and see what suits you, because you didn't give any details about you face shape. I personally like curly hair and that hairstyle advantages any type of girl. Or you can try to make hair twists but ask someone to help you, at least the first time you're trying :)

start with air-dried hair...or blow dry it if you are in a hurry



you need a straightener also



take 1 inch sections of your hair and start 1 inch away from the scalp...clamp the straightener down and twist it 180 degrees. hold for like 3 seconds and unclamp. then move down about 1n inch more and do the same thing until you reach the end of the strand...do this throughout your hair...youll end up with messy waves.

blow dry it with a really fat round brush.itll give you some volume and curls at the end or really pretty waves!!.run ur hands thru it..add a lil hairspray and itll look fab!!. good luck! (:
