How do i get hair extension glue out of my hair?

This happened to me once and I ended up with a whole head of matted hair %26amp; glue!!!





The glue remover I used wasn't strong enough so I would suggest going to a hair%26amp;beauty wholesalers and getting the strongest glue remover.





In the end I used a combination of nail polish remover (it worked) then soaked my hair in olive oil for a whole day. Then I used a fine tooth comb to gently comb out the glue.

You can get hair extention glue out by using Acetone, it melts the glue away. You can buy acetone from the pharmacy. This is for extentions that are bonded in separate pieces. But if you have weaved hair bonded in then you can get glue out with glue remover, that comes in a white and red bottle, or just use loadsa conditioner and hot water and a comb to brush it out. The bonded glued hair though, thats the hardest to get out, you will need to get somebody to help you and to hold sme foil at the top of the hair piece, pour over some acetone and wrap the piece up int he foil, leave for about 30 mins and the glue should come out.How do i get hair extension glue out of my hair?

I ama proffesional hair extensions hairdresser, i have had hair extensions for years and the glue is a nightmare to get out, however you need cooking oil, i know this sounds disgusting but it works.


you'll need:


a hard wearing comb


and cooking oil.


Pore the oil over the glue and comb out the glue, you may loose some hair but this is recomended rather than cutting your hair out.

its best to ask the person who put them in for you so you know exactly whats in ur hair and the best way to get it out without damaging your hair.





When i had them in, she took it out my soaking my hair in conidtioner and putting extra on the glue then clamping straightners on it for a few secs on each bit of glue then combin out.
soak your hair in extra virgin olive oil it will come right out.





it will mess up your extension though. but you should try to never glue in the extension it damages your hair

Try some vinegar on a cotton wool - otherwise contact the salon that put in the extensions and ask them they will be happy to help you.

cover your hair in ALOT of condtioner and then comb out. it hurts a bit but the conditioner helps it slide out or use oilve oil xx
oooh. that sounds painful, i hope someone can tell you how to get it out. sorry i cant.
