Try the ';Washed Vinegar'; look. Your hair stylist should be able to do it for you.
section into 4-8 sections. twist untill it twists into itself. spray a setting spray on it 1/2 twisted. keep twisting. pin down. wait for it to dry completely (use a blow dryer if you are in a hurry), take it out and apply pomade on ends only. finger comb.

I have hair to the middle of my back~I like to clip just the crown (top layer) up with bobby pins (you can find some pretty ones at Target) and leave the rest flow-y :)
