What is a low-maintenance hairstyle for long hair?

I have to straighten my hair with a straightening iron and it takes me three hours to get it to look like human hair and not wool.





The problem is that I'm studying abroad soon and don't want to haul around the products and I won't have time for them.





I DON'T want short hair! I'm going to Spain and in the Spanish culture, femininity is so important... I want something elegant and cute for long hair, I don't wanna look like a 50 year old middle school math teacher.





I've worked so hard to learn how to speak perfect Spanish, to earn the money to go, and to make it work out for me, and now my hair is gonna ruin everything! I've cried over this all morning.

i have long straight hair but it was always super frizzy so i got it put in layers. now it has a slight wave to it and turns in at the end but it isn't frizzy anymore.
