Quick hairstyles for long hair for school?

I have long hair to about my lower back. I don't own a curling/straightening iron. I have mousse and hairspray!...If you suggest for me to get the irons , I can't my mom does not allow them and think I will fry my hair v.v I already heard of the after your shower let your hair damp and put mousse in and braid it sleep in it ,...so forth for a wavy look. I need quick cute looking hairstyles that fit for a girl with a round face -cough- If you do suggest on the irons i'd prefer a curling since my hair is straight, can you also suggest a good reasonable priced one too?..thanks ^^Quick hairstyles for long hair for school?

i think you should try french braiding it or got to the hair solon and ask them what would look good on you hope that helps:)
