Need a good hairstyle for long hair?

I have long brown hair that is almost to my waist. It is very thick, kinda wavy, and difficult sometimes.

I usually put it in a messy bun or straighten it and wear it down, but I want a newer look. Any ideas?Need a good hairstyle for long hair?
well personally maybe you should get it thinned, with a bunch of layers. you could try the whole teased, big hair look? if you want to be scene, that is. which is what's in right now for a ton of teenagers. but if not, I'm really not sure, really long hair is hard to deal with. I mean, I have long extensions, but I have layered, teased hair as well.Need a good hairstyle for long hair?
umm hmm. i like wavy and curled hair for long.. its nice ..
Slick it back with gel into a ponytail and finish with hairspray or when it's damp put some moose to enhance your waves and create volume, part it, and let it dry =]
