Has anyone got any nice hairstyles for long hair?

My hair is really long and i find it boring to wear it down so has anyone got any nice hairstyles fo long thick hair?

I also have long thick hair and I know how sometimes it seems so boring to just let it hang there lol. I like to curl my hair every now and then, which can seem like a huge hassle with long hair, but I found that using hot rollers instead of a curling iron is much less time consuming and my hair actually stays curled longer. The trick is to use a curling gel (I use the green tube called ';curling gel'; by garnier fruictise). Put this in your damp or dry hair and then once hair is dry, put the hot rollers in and leave them in until they feel cool to the touch in your hair. This will insure long lasting curls.





Another thing you can do is braids, or french braids. It's a quick easy way to get your hair out of your face and is especially great for those hot summer months. I like to make a side part and do 2 french braids then tie them loosely at the bottom with little bows or hairties.





Another thing I discovered recently is single clip-on hair extensions, since my hair is black, I picked up several bright colored and a few blonde extensions (can be found at Sally's or any beauty supply store and my favorite, on eBay!). You just lift a section of hair and clip them right into your hair, the clips are covered by your hair but it gives the illusion that you have multicolored or highlighted hair. I recently picked up hot pink ones and I like to put them in and then put the hot rollers in, they're really cute and a cheap easy way of updating old boring hair.

If your hair is straight try curling it, or crimping it.
