My hair is long up to the small of my back; straight(Pin Straight); Burnette, and it's thin. I need to know about new hairstyles because i think i'm getting old with my everyday hairstyle. I dontn want to use curling irons. I want to go all natural. U kno?Hairstyles for long hair?
Best thing to keep in mind, especially since you have thin hair is that you want to avoid breakage.
Breakage can come if you keep putting your hair in the same style, fastening it in the same place with the same type of fastener - especially if the fastener is elastic.
So, get some cloth scrungees, those large plastic clips, some big barettes %26amp; decorative clips or bows %26amp; experiment where to place them on the following hairstyles:
Do a loose braid of all your hair then wind it into a crown around your head, or a bun at the nape of your neck, using bobby pins to hold each coil in place. Add decorative clips or bows as needed. (Once unbraided, you will have waves in your hair. If you really want to keep waves in your hair for an alternative style, then dampen your hair %26amp; add a bit of hair gel before braiding.)
Do 2 loose braids %26amp; wear Native American style. Or twist up into coils near each ear like Princess Leah in Star Wars.
Pull hair back into a big ponytail using scrungee like a rubber band to fasten. Can leave like this, or twist hair past the scrungee to form hair into a coil, then use large clip to fasten it to the back of your crown. Or, try doing without using the scrungee, but if your hair is as long as you say, it will probably be supported better by using the scrungee. Experiment with size %26amp; placement of your coiled hair %26amp; what works best with your hair weight %26amp; type.
If you want to wear your hair down, but with waves or curls, try using hair gel on damp hair before rolling it up on large, smooth rollers. (You'll have to shop for these.) Some people have used empty, cleaned, plastic, concentrated juice cans as large rollers.
Good luck !! I used to have longer hair, too, but now I keep it around shoulder length because I can handle it better.Hairstyles for long hair?
Some of these are really pretty and all of them is for straight hair

you can cut your hair a little and u could look at pictures on the computer wut to do ohh and u can so like french braids n stuff
1. Two french braids up to your ears (leave bangs out if you have them)
2. Two french braids about 3/4 down your head then put them in ponytails and put the leftover hair in a messy bun
3. Just a messy bun, adding a headband is a good touch
4. A normal ponytail with a flower (real or fake) or just a pretty ponytail
5. Take some hair like you were going to do a 1/2 pony but don't take as much. take as much as you can clip with bobby pins. take that and bobby clip it . as your clipping it push it up so you get some volume or somewhat of a pouf.
6. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art4077.asp this is a great site for getting waves in hair. you said you had straight hair. this will give it a 'beachy' wave type of look. really pretty.
7. If you have bangs, just a headband to separate the hair and the bangs is nice. Fabric headbands are also easy on the head. Plastic sometimes give really bad headaches.
8. A ponytail with a elastic headband is a sporty look. with your bangs hanging out then the headband gets some volume before the ponytail. An elastic headband keeps your hair our of your face.
9. There are many types of braids you can do. just search on google. Sometimes braids also look good with a fashionable hat.
10. Shower in the evening, then braid your hair when it is damp. In the morning take the braids out put a little moose in it and there you go. nice waves
hope this helped!!!
Its hard just to go natural one way could be to pull your bangs back or just some hair from the front and pull it back.
STRAIGHTEN IT
