Hairstyles for long hair?

Usually i just straighten my hair with my GHD's but is there any other hairstyles you can of think for my long hair.

two french braids (cute and perfect for all hair lengths able to have it, works on every head except those with VERY thin hair)


two braids, pin back a ~3-inch wide section of front of front middle of hair line where the hair meets the forehead of hair with bobby pin (see my avatar's hair, creates a small pomadour thats very popular right now), then braid


one long, straightened ponytail with pinned-back bangs/hair (see above) = very elegant


wear hair down with pinned-back bangs/hair (like my avatar)

I put mine in rag curls at night. In the morning it looks like I have ringlets.





You can braid it - get a braiding book from the library, that will show you several braiding sytles.





You can buy pretty barretts and pin the top part of your hair with them.





You can wear it in a pony tail.





You can under or over curl it.





There is just so much to do with long hair.





You can put beads in it.

Curl it. Pull it up. Tons of things you can try.
pony tail to the side...with layers out....deep curls.....
hardly anyone does the indian girl double pigtails anymore but it is sure cute and when you take it out it is wavy.
Buns or a pigtail.
Find something to do, just don't cut it. I made that mistake. I had hair half way down my back, and now it barely touches my shoulders. I want my long hair back, and you would miss it. I'm not sure if you were thinking of that, but I figured you should know.
I have long, straight hair and it is a real problem trying to get a cute hairstyle. I just recently cut mine pretty short, actually but it sounds like you want to keep yours long, so you can try these things:





Straighten your hair with a hair straightener. Then curl the ends in so they curve towards your face.





Have a hair stylist give you and angular hair cut or get it layered.





Low ponytails.





Curl your hair with a curling iron (not poofy curly, but ';cascading'; curls)





Messy bun





Go to a hair salon and look through the books that they have there on hair styles for long hair. Find one you like and try it.

cute braids or pig tails... i prefer braids though. pony tail, put ur hair down and just take little pecies from the front and clip it up, u dont need bangs for that style, it can look really cute!
Curl it! Everyone loves curly hair for a super bowl day!


A simple head band with that straight hair would look cute, too. Pull it back, with a hair tie, down. Pony tails? Low cute cow girl braids! Pig tails are always cute (two)

When you straighten it, angle the straighteners and twist them round, and bring the straighteners to the end. If you've done it right, it should form a curl. By varying the angle and speed of the straighteners on your hair, you can create different types of curl.





You can do this in the morning as an evening look as well, as some of the curls will sort of fall out and loosen throughout the day.
