A cute preppy hairstyle for long hair [past the bra] with layers?

So, I'm ready for something new to do. I have long hair, past the bra, with layers like crazy and side bangs. I have naturally straight hair, which is very thin, and so straightening is a must for a plan jane day. Any suggestions? Definetly a cute, thick head band. Wear a polo and on top of that wear a t-shirt, like ones from American Eagle, and bermuda shorts, with a pair of cute flats. Also, pearls are very preppy, or long, bead necklace.
