Can anyone tell me how to make a female pompadour hairstyle for long hair?

I would like to try the style I see now, the raised front and possibly back swept into a ponytail, but I can't get my hair to raise in the front.


Can anyone walk me through or send me a link with steps to follow?

I have long hair as well, but I do the female pomp often. It gets easier the more you do it. ^_^





Just take the very front part of your hair in the middle of your face (where your bangs would be) and brush it straight up.


Twist on side of this hair under itself and push it down to your scalp and forward towards your forhead.


Keep one hand on your pomp and secure it with bobbypins. (I use about three or four).





It stays much eaiser when you do it with damp hair.

it is a lot easier when you have bangs but just take a piece of hair in the front and push it forward and secure it with bobby pins and they spray it. it might also not work if your hair is too thick. my hair is very thick and it took me a while to get...good luck!
