What colour hair extensions would i get?

My hair is naturally dark brown but i coloured it using xxl dye which is a purple colour (designed especially for dark hair) should i buy dark brown hair extensions an put the same dye on them? They are human hair extensions so can be dyed.What colour hair extensions would i get?

Aslong as the colour of your hair extensions are the same colour or almost the same as your original hair colour then that should be ok.





Remember that sometimes hair extenions are less absorbent than your own hair (dyeing takes longer). Also, they may be thicker/thinner than your normal hair so take that into account when deciding how much dye you need to buy.





If i were you , i would take a small section of the hair extensions and dye them with the same amount/same time scale that you dyed your natural hair and see the results - if they match up then repeat with the rest of the hair.





P-s its worth taking time over to get the correct shade because one of the major tell tale signs with hair extensions is when the colour doesnt match up.





Your natural hair will inevitabley fade after a while , and may not fade in line with the extensions so keep that in mind and keep an eye on the colour of your hair and extensions every few weeks.
