What is the safest method of semi permanent hair extensions?

I have thin , fine hair , that is down about six inches past my shoulders. i have to cut it very short because of all the heat damage i've done to it . I want semi permanent extensions that are the SAFEST route. i don't want to damage my hair while its growing out. but i have to cut it. what method is safest for growing out hair, besides clip ins?

please give any and all information possible. (prices etc.)

Oh and my mother is a proffesionall hairstylist and she would do them for me.

Honestly, clip-ins are the best. Glued-in extensions feel like a heavy wig is glued to your head. It's pretty itchy after a while and feels uncomfortable when the back of your head is lying down against something. When you want them removed, it is SO painful. And after they are removed, the glue stays in your hair and scalp for a while, which feels really gross. Sewed-in extensions are even more itchy and if worn too long, they can make your hair break off.

Go with the clip-ins. They're the easiest to manage.
Get Jessica Simpson hair extensions or Paris Hilton ones! The best about this is you can use it over and over again (No repaying later on!) And it is SAFE on your hair, because the just clip in! They look totally real and come in tons of shades and length. They add volume to your hair too! They are a little bit pricey (average around 70-100$) But it is so worth it because you wont need to buy them again, and it is actually cheaper in the long run because salons are expensive!

Here is the site where you can buy some:

And you could also go to any beauty store and pick some up!

Hope this helped!
