What is the safest method of semi permanent hair extensions?

I have thin , fine hair , that is down about six inches past my shoulders. i have to cut it very short because of all the heat damage i've done to it . I want semi permanent extensions that are the SAFEST route. i don't want to damage my hair while its growing out. but i have to cut it. what method is safest for growing out hair, besides clip ins?



please give any and all information possible. (prices etc.)

Honestly, clip-ins are the best. Glued-in extensions feel like a heavy wig is glued to your head. It's pretty itchy after a while and feels uncomfortable when the back of your head is lying down against something. When you want them removed, it is SO painful. Sewed-in extensions are even more itchy and if worn too long, they can make your hair break off.
