What hairstyle is best to have when using human hair extensions?

Okay, I have hair extensions but have not worn them much at all, because I feel like it's too obvious I have extensions in. My hair is all one length, a bit past my shoulders, and it was not thick at all, until I cut it shorter. I was wondering if the extensions would look natural if I had thin,layered,shorter hair?What hairstyle is best to have when using human hair extensions?
Usually the longer your natural hair the easier it is to blend the extensions. The main thing is that you musnt have a blunt hair cut/style it must be layered/feathered on the ends or they just wont look right. the weight line of your own hair will always come through.

don't cut your hair shorter,keep it longer...it will be easier to blend in the extensions and it will look much more natural.
