TIPS- Clip in hair extension- bright colour strip?

I have a blue clip in hair extension, synthetic hair. I like having one streak of blue through my hair, and I wear it near the front side of my hair. How can I a) keep it in good condition and b) make it look as natural as possible, so people wont know its an extension (its cut to the same length as my hair)TIPS- Clip in hair extension- bright colour strip?

dont wash and donr brush comb only and dont flat iron it or use any hert on it what so ever
Dont wash it... or put heat on it... Buy a couple so they dont get worn out so fast...
