How can I stop my hair extensions from getting knotty?

I have real hair extensions that clip in but they get knotty really quickly and I have to brush them all the time, it is so annoying, does anyone know how I can sort this out?How can I stop my hair extensions from getting knotty?

when washing ur extensions, use Auzie leave in conditioner and leave them to dry naturally then straighten/curl them, worked for mine
