The bond (area where the glue has stuck to the hair) stays extremely wet for long periods of time and makes it difficult to style, because it stays wet, and also soaks up tons of water, and the water also wets the glue and makes it come out after jsut one instal, basically putting in all new glue each day, 45 minutes a day on this.Glue in hair extension problems? Anyone have these problems?
I had those problems which is why I started using clip-in extensions instead. It seems to me that your problem would be the glue, have you ever considered trying a different type to bond your extensions to your own hair? If that doesn't work out, I would try talking to a hairdresser and then reviewing your options. In the end, I really think it would be better to go for clip-in extensions. They sell them at every Regis salon and they only cost 10 dollars per strand and they are real human hair and you can curl them and such.
Good luck, I hope everything works out well for you!Glue in hair extension problems? Anyone have these problems?
After you apply the glued track to your head, use a blow dryer to ';set'; the glued track. The glue will dry and stay firmly on your head. YouTube has many videos pertaining to bonding weft tracks.
Use clips or weaves. I hated my bond extensions. The hair would get tangled. It was hard to brush. I felt the hair slipping out of the bond.
Yeah try another glue, ask you hairstylist for some tips. But I would try clip ons or sew in weaves, easier and better.
