How do I make my human hair extensions less shiny?

I've tried everything to make my natural hair shinier to match the extensions but I end up with this weird plastic shine instead of a healthy shine. How can I dull down the extensions? I have African American/Indian hair.How do I make my human hair extensions less shiny?
