What are the pro's and con's of hair extension's?

psh yeah.What are the pro's and con's of hair extension's?
Pros:


-adds length, or volume, or color


-great way of changing the look of your hair without changing it drastically


-available in an array of lengths, texture, and color





Cons:


-can be quite expensive


-can wreck your hair if not done right


-high maintenance


-needs to get touched up every 6-8 weeks


-special brushes, shampoos, cleaning methods





Hair extensions are wonderful, if you're dying to change the look of your hair without waiting for it to grow, etc.





If you find yourself having to wash your hair pretty frequently due to the amount of oil produced at the scalp, try to avoid extension application methods that avoid using the bonding glue.





I really like the ';short to long'; method, but it is expensive also.








I am a hair stylists, and from time to time, i just go with the clip-ins because they're affordable and convenient!What are the pro's and con's of hair extension's?
PROS: Long pretty hair or voluminous hair


If they're done well, they can last a long time


I actually felt more confident when I had them in, gave me a


confidence boost





CONS: They can be pretty expensive (if you get good ones, put in well)


They require alot of upkeep and get pretty tangled if


you dont get really really good hair.


No matter what kind you do, your hair will suffer breakage.





My advice is to get clip in extensions. They may be a hassle because you have to put them in, but at least your hair will stay healthy. And you can take them out if you want
they look tacky if they not done right, if you have hair extensions make sure its some1 who knows what they doing
