How do individual hair extensions work?

My friend used to have these extensions that were little tiny individual ones. Not strips or huge amounts. Tiny ones glued in or something at the root hairs.

Generally glued in ones look very fake. I only would use those if you were wearing Raccoon tails [because you didnt have the gall to make them yourself XD] or if you were wearing long scene like hair, because then it doesnt always have to look super real.How do individual hair extensions work?
I'm not sure, but I think you're talking about fusion extensions, so they're not actually glued in and if you're doing them yourself, you'd need the tool that actually fuses them in. When they're applied, they're fused just a bit away from the scalp and generally they're very expensive. They do make the hair thicker and longer, but applying them yourself can be really tedious. I'm not sure where you are because that can be a factor in how much they'd cost, but out here in LA that can run for about $800 and up. Good luck!
Clip in is the best way to go, all other methods cause major damage to hair. Once hair is damaged, it can only be ';repaired'; by growing out.
