Hair extension question?

I want to get hair extensions, but the clip in kind.

I already found some really nice and affordable HUMAN hair extensions at Sally's. My only question is that it just comes with the hair, and nothing to attach it to. At this point, it says ';Can be bonded or weaved in';. Does this mean I can buy hair extension clips, and just clip them on and use them?Hair extension question?
iam not sure Ive only heard about, bonded, and weaved. the best thing to do is go to a hairdresser and ask them the question. they would give you the best answerHair extension question?
bonded means that it can be glued in, and weaved means sewn to your head.

but you can just sew clips onto the hair weave

thats what i do

we dont have a sallys over here (australia)

so i have to buy all my stuff from the internet

but i heard that they sell the clips at sallys

they are really easy to sew on to the clips

and then you just clip them in

i hope that helped
no bonded means glued in and weaved in means sewn in you would be better off getting them sewn in because the glue stinks real bad and it hurts when you take them outalso if you want the clip in kind i suggest looking for them on the internet
Yes u can!!! You can buy them at sallys and sew them in. Only put 3 per track on the short ones, and 4 on the long ones. You can also buy them with the clips on them at sallys..Its about $80 depending on where you is located.

Can I condition my synthetic hair extensions without wrecking them?

They're clip ins, so they're pretty cheap in any case (just ones that go around my head rather than individual bits to put in different places). They look realistic enough, but they also look dry at the ends. I've tried brushing them out but they tangle. If I were to use some conditioner on them, would it ruin them? Can I condition my synthetic hair extensions without wrecking them?
no it wouldnt.

most people put the conditioner in the hair extensions and leave it in and put little plastic bags on them and leave it there for 3 days and they are all nice shiny and smooth :]Can I condition my synthetic hair extensions without wrecking them?
No I used conditioner on mines and it was brill but if you use hair serum before you straighten them its stops them from getting as dry:)

  • How do you remove glue from hair extensions?

I bought some extensions for 60 dollras a pack and i want to keep my hair!Yet they have glue on them...I want to reuse them so how do i remove the glue off the tracksHow do you remove glue from hair extensions?
They do sell a glue remover at most stores. Some say use baby oil but I don't think it actually dissolves the glue. Either way you've got some work in front of you. Good luckHow do you remove glue from hair extensions?
Shampoo should do the trick...you can buy a shampoo brush for about $1 at the beauty supply and brush through the track while you shampoo it, so it doesn't get tangled.....for $60 a pack, I don't blame you for wanting to reuse them. Yikes! You can also use glue remover, but a lot of people are allergic. Only use the remover if you are certain that you are not allergic to it.

    Hope this helps.
if you've had the hair in a lot then i would toss them and get new hair... its hard to remove the glue off the tracks... and unless you've kept the hair in top condition, chances are its gonna start to look dry and damaged. I would just invest and get new ones and re-glue them in.

How much do hair extensions cost?

I want to make my hair longer. Its Right at my chest right now and i want to get my hair below my chest. So how much are hair extensions? And will they affect your hair in a bad way?How much do hair extensions cost?
    Heeey there ,

alright well i've had hair extensions before.

%26amp; im letting you know right now, no matter what get the REAL HAIR extensions.. fake hair extensions if you put heat to them , they just look like all frizzy and horse like hair.. the real hair extensions ( clip in recommended ) are like around 100-150 bucks at a good store..

get your phone book, and call around for the best deal .

but honestly they get VERY annoying so easily.. like you'll love them for about a month.. but then when you go out and stuff, they tend to fall out alot and stuff, and when you get them sewn in they just tug at your hair and you have alot of bumps in the back of your head..

    not attractive..

hope i helped :)How much do hair extensions cost?
Cost depends on a number of factors. The type of hair extension, the amount of hair used, the length of hair or the look desired. Also, geography plays a part. NYC, LA, Chicago, will be more expensive that smaller towns across the USA, due to expenses incurred by the salon.

A top of the line hair extension system like Great Lengths, HairDreams, Remylinks, will cost more because of the premium nature of the hair. It costs the salon more money to buy, hence the added costs to the customer. To add body to hair, figure you need $600 and up, to add length, figure $1500 and up.

There are more affordable methods. In general with what I said earlier, the duration the extension lasts, plays a factor in price also. If it last a couple of months, it will be cheaper than something that lasts up to 6 months. You can get a system like UltraTress and Simplicity for around $500, which is an affordable option.

Be careful just judging on price. If it cost $200 for full head of hair extensions, stay away. They will probably destroy your hair.

Use only 100% Natural Remy Human Hair Extensions. Avoid Synthetic, and make sure the person is a licensed hair dresser.
'So how much are hair extensions?'

it depends if you choose synthetic fibre or human hair.

synthetic you can buy for very cheap, because they are a plastic fibre they may look like real hair for a bit, but they can turn pretty nasty looking and you cannot straighten/curl or use heat on these as they will burn and ruin,

100% human hair is the hair extensions i buy. because basically nobody will be able to tell you are wearing them as they are the aturalist when it comes to hair extensions. if you get the right colour and length. it will look like your own hair.

you can straighten and curl these too and use them in your normal hair ruitine.

these can range in price. if you want good hair yaki human hair is the priciest. in a salon it could range from 拢150-400 ( $320-$800)

or you can just buy the weft itself for (in the uk 拢30-拢60) (in the us around $70-$150)

'And will they affect your hair in a bad way?'

    Yes and No

For people who use the clip in method of extensions it can pull on your hair roots, which may result in thinner or slight bald areas (in bad cases),

For people who use the sew in method its less likely to cause dammage to your natural hair follicals and the roots.

you will need someone to sew the weft to your hair for that method.

Theres other methods like glue %26amp; microrings, they are the most fiddley.

and its best to speak to someone with experience with bonding glue and microrings

    Good Luck
It depends on what type you get and where you live. Prices vary with each stylist. They can range anywhere from $500 to $2500. There are 2 common types of extensions - weaves and keratin bonded. Weaves are when they braid the hair and sew the hair to each tiny braid. Keratin bonded extensions are made out of keratin obviously - but it is the same protein your hair is made of. It isn't very damaging at all, and it looks much more natural than a weave. They apply these strands with heat. Ask around, most stylist do a free consultation for extensions!
Fake ones like jessica simpson (they are still nice) are like 100-150$ (where i live) but real hair ones are like 300-400$ and those are the ones you want if you want to curl them or straighten them. Hair extensions really start to thin out your hair because you are always taking them out.. but they do the truck ahha. Hope you find some you like : ):)
if you get clip in ones they are about 100 or up.

if you want like really nice ones that stay in and you

get them done in a saloon 200 +
depends on your hair type. Where u buy the hair from. And how much they charge to put the extensions in.

Extensions with hair included range from $150 - $400.00

What's the average price of hair extensions at a hair salon?

I am looking for shoulder length extensions, nothing fancy, super expensive, or over the top. I live in a rural state so no outrageous beauty scene. What would the ballpark cost be? Thanks. What's the average price of hair extensions at a hair salon?

What kind of hair extensions are the best?

Money really isnt a issue, but id like to keep it below a 100 if possible.

    i want long hair.

    problem: my hair grows SLOWWW.

Right now i have a black scene haircut. And id like to get some extensions that blend in with my hair and look natural.

preferably some that i can straighten or curl and brush and maybe even dye. Basically clip in ones that i can do whatever with.

Is there any brands i should be on the lookout for? What kind of hair extensions are the best?
Brand doesn't matter just make sure it says that it's REAL hair. Clip in's are fun but if you want to use them every day it get's annoying to have to take them out and put them in every day (I have them... I know) but if you like to change your look every day then clip ins are great :)What kind of hair extensions are the best?
You probably want REAL HAIR extentions.

You can get them from Sally's Beauty Supplies. What I found is easiest to do is buy the chair clips that are usually located right next to the extentions, and sew them onto the clip. That way you can use them over and over again. Gluing them in is not a good idea. It will tear your haiar out and the glue is hard to get out. Sewing them onto your head is a better idea, but then they eventually have to be taken out and usually cant be used again since they have been washed so amny times. thats why I think it's better to sew them onto clips becasue you can take them out every day and they do not get damaged. and you can cut them and do whatever you would like to them. :)
my friend has these and they look really nice (she found them at Winners for super cheap!)

How do i get out my hair extensions (keratin wax) at home or with some product?

So now it's been 3 months and my extensions are really getting on my nerves. They tangle all the time and don't look to healthy anymore, i want them out!

What kind of home products or cheap ';remover'; can i use? I really don't want to put my hair through anymore damage...How do i get out my hair extensions (keratin wax) at home or with some product?
Acetone. Apply it to the bond and let it sit for a minute. The bond should start to crumble. Can be tedious work but this is how they would do it in the salon. How do i get out my hair extensions (keratin wax) at home or with some product?
You should never remove hair extensions by yourself. that is how people damage their hair, and give hair extensions a reputation for damaging hair.

Hair extensions do not damage your hair as long as they are professionally applied and removed. Please go to a hair extensions salon and remove them correctly.
I went to my local beauty supply store (queens) and bought this stuff i cant remember what the name brand was but it was a bond remover was oil based my tracks came right out but it still broke off some of my hair i would recommend sewing in your extenstions next time.
