HAIR EXTENSION ADVICE: What would happen if I glued individual strands of hair to my own?

I had a fringe cut that I've been trying to grow out, however its taking far too long and I it to be the same length as the rest of my hair asap. What would happen if I glued individual strands of human hair to my own hair - not bunched together strands - but literally strand by strand dipped in keratin glue to the front strands of my own hair. Would this work?

It would work, but it wouldnt look right..


The cut hair would over lap the fake hair and it would look really trashy
