Can i use the fusion hair extension iron on i-tipped extensions?? 10 points?

i have just bought 300 i-tipped extensions and the hair extension iron connector can i connect my extensions with that iron even though there i-tipped and not u-tipped. if i connect them with the iron how long will they last??Can i use the fusion hair extension iron on i-tipped extensions?? 10 points?
no, it wont work or it wont last you very long. youll need a u-tipped one.
