What should I do if my hair extension is loose?

I got two purple streaks that are pretty small and they are pretty much like tied/looped into my hair. By accident, I tugged one with my brush while my hair was wet and now the loop that is tying it to my real hair is like bigger and looser. Should I go back to the hairdresser to get it tied back in, because it makes like a strand of my real hair kind of pop out a tiny bit.
