How can I get a modern looking hairstyle for longer hair with 40's-50's motifs without spending hours on it?

My clothing is already set with tailored 40's-50's lines, but I need a modern hairstyle with a vintage twist to match. The problem is, I have hair that's a bit long for the time period and no bangs. I don't want to cut it, since my hair is more versatile like this, but I also want something new. Extensive curling is also a bit of a problem, since my hair takes rather long to curl, and in the morning I don't have too much time (I can deal with something set through the night though).



In all, I just need a look that doesn't seem too fancy, is good for longer hair, and doesn't require loads of time.How can I get a modern looking hairstyle for longer hair with 40's-50's motifs without spending hours on it?

They look great on long hair styles.
